Happy Holidays from the Adventure Club team! We hope your family enjoys this season finding you healthy, happy, and safe.

Plan B Activities

For those parents who are using Plan B weeks during the weeks of December 19th - 23rd and the 26th - 30th please know your children will have a fantastic time on their break. We are finalizing plans now for the weeks activities and you will receive an Activity Calendar by Wednesday, December 14th for your review.

If you have registered to use the Christiansburg GAC located at 77 Scattergood, the hours of operation are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Friday December 23 and 30, GAC's hours are from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm - closing early for the holidays. TACC in Blacksburg will be closed those Fridays.

Payment Process During Plan B Weeks

For those who are using the entire week, you will only pay the difference between your regular weekly rate and the full week fee. For example $125.00 - $54 = $71.00

If you use care for less than a full week, you would only pay for the add-on days at the daily rate. For example if you have one child needing care for 3 days, you would only pay $45.00 additional or $15.00 for each day you use.

For those parents who have enrolled at a full time discounted rate that pay by check and are not using the service during Plan B weeks, your regular weekly fee is due on Monday, Dec. 19th and 26th. For your convenience, you may call the main office at 540-382-2783 to use your credit card or check over the phone.

Holiday Clarification

Hello Adventure Club Parents!

Thank you for allowing us to serve your family with school-age child care. Please allow me to provide additional information that will be helpful concerning your rates during the holidays.

Enrollment Status -- Full Time Discounted Flat Rates

For parents who have chosen to enroll children full-time during the school year; your rate is flat and significantly discounted. Your weekly tuition doesn't change during school closings, breaks and holidays. For example, a child enrolled before and afterschool has over 27.5 hours of care available. The cost of one child is $54.00 per week or about .51 cents per hour.

Child Care during the Winter Break is offered by Reservation at two of our full day care locations -- one in Blacksburg and one in Christiansburg. The weekly rate for one full-time school age child during Christmas break is $125.00 per week with a sibling discount if a second child attends.

If you choose to use the full care option, you would only pay the difference between your regular weekly rate and the full week fee. For example $125.00 - $54 = $71.00

Enrollment Status -- Part-Time or Flex Card Option

For parents who have chosen to enroll children in our part-time or flex care option during the school year, your rate fluctuates and is a significantly higher hourly rate. Your weekly tuition changes according to the hours that are used. The hourly rate is $8.00 per hour or $6.00 if a Punch card purchased.

During the Super Summer Camp Session -- parents only pay for the weeks that are reserved throughout the summer session.
